Matthew Chapter 6

I love this chapter! Jesus tells us how not to practice false religion:

1.  Be generous, but not so you will be rewarded by people.

2. Don’t pray for show.

3. Don’t use lots of words to try and twist God’s arm behind his back, he knows what you have need of.

4. Seek His will and kingdom here and now.

5. Don’t walk in unforgiveness - if you do, you won’t walk in right relationship with the Father.

6. Fast - but don’t do it for show - do it to grow in relationship with God.

7. Don’t put your trust in things like 401k’s, IRA’s and investments, instead trust God for your provision.

8. Don’t worry, God is in control!!
